Quenching oil 32 is a mineral oil with a low viscosity that is used as a general-purpose quenching oil to achieve thorough hardness with minimum distortion when quenching alloys. It is recommended to maintain a consistent temperature between 25°C and 85°C for uniform quenching characteristics. The low viscosity of the oil ensures good quenching characteristics and economical use due to low drag-out. It has a high flash point, reducing the risk of fire, and good oxidation stability, reducing acid build-up and extending the useful life of the oil by preventing sludge build-up and thickening.
